FIXED BLADES are our specialty.We pre-select the coolest pieces for our clients, then photograph them in detail, far exceeding normal websites. It's difficult enough to judge a knife over the internet. We feel you need to know as much as possible. And in that spirit we tell the truth about our pieces and we say the truth. The truth is that only a fixed blade is 100 percent reliable. The truth is that a folder takes too long to deploy. We make our own specialized sheaths which maximize your ability to bring a knife to bear in a hurry.For these reasons and others, Mastersmiths focuses on fixed blades.
